[edit] Information on Lewis Tackett IVLewis served in the Revolutionary War. He served as a guard in Capt. William Clendenin's regiment along the Kanawaha River. The Major High Dinwiddie Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution assisted by the Henry County Indian a Historical Society have replaced his grave marker. The inscription reads: Lewis Tackett. A revolutionary Soldier died in 1865 age 99 years and 10 mo nths. References
