In 1900 and 1920 he was a farmer. He owned an antique store in Cornersburg Ohio. He had a new tile roof put on his house 1889. Obituary with picture LEVI CORLL, FATHER OF EX-SHERIFF, DIES Levi Corll, father of Peter Corll, former sheriff, died at his home in Cornersburg last night at five o'clock. The 76 years of his life were spent in the Cornersburg vicinity, death claiming him a quarter of a mile from the Corll farm where he was born. His life was spent as farmer and dairyman until 20 years ago, when he retired. He had been ill three years. He was stricken by paralysis six weeks ago and lost consciousness last Friday when stricken for the third time. Since then he had been in a coma. Mr. Corll leaves his wife, Mrs. Lucy McKelvery Corll and the following children: Peter Corll, former sheriff; Howard Corll and Mrs. M.P. Wehr; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A sister, Mrs. P. Moyer Warren, also survives. He was a member of the Cornersburg M. E. church. For years he was a member of the school and election boards of Cornersburg. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the home with Rev. Wesley Brown of the Cornersburg Church and Dr. W.J. Kratz of St. Luke's Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Lake Park Cemetery. Several weeks ago Mr. Corll arranged all details of his funeral even to the text that will be used.
