He worked on the car ferries out of Grand Haven 27/29, not sure the dates are correct. He worked on Grand Trunk Railroad in the 30ties. He was a night watchman at the Norge Refrigeration Co., Grand Haven 29/30. He owned the Nunica Ball team sometime in the 30ties, first part. He called for square dances, played harmonica, joise(?) harp and piano. Suppose to have made the best whiskey any where's around the 30, prohibition days. Went to work for Cambellyoons (?) & Cannons in Muskegon Heights about 34-35. Dr. made him quit and went back to sailing first on passenger boats out of Muskegon and Chicago then he went to work for the Nicholson Co. out of Detroit, grain and ore boats. He was there for 20 yrs or so as an engineer. He worked for them at the time of his death at Traverse City. Coronary thrombosis 10 days, cerebral hemorrhage 43 days, diabetes mellitus for years. Also was in the U.S. Coast Guards and was a fireman at the time of Lee's birth."
