Lee Allen Huson was the youngest child of Clark Gale and Eliza Chloe Allen Huson.  He was born in the basement of a sod house on January 5, 1889 while the family was homesteading in Belmont, Rook County, Kansas.  The family returned to the original Huson home in Wauconda, Lake County, Illinois when Clark's father became ill with tuberculosis.   Several of Clark's siblings and nieces and nephews also died from the disease as did his wife, Eliza in 1896.   She left behind Lee and Lee's sister Rose Lorena who later married Chauncey Jepson.   Lee married Delia Croker on May 6, 1911 in Libertyville, Illinois.  I believe he attended a business college there.  They had two children Ruth Rose born in 1915 and Lisle May born in 1912.  Lee died suddenly in 1965 in Oregon.   ---Susan McCannon
