Mr. Lawrence Parker Isley, 85, of 152 Andrews Avenue, Graham, died at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Monday, April 10, 2006 at 2:59 p.m. following several years declining health.

A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Helen Andrews Isley, who survives, and the son of Henry Cletos Isley and Ethel Holt Isley, both deceased. He was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He retired from the North Carolina Department of Transportation.

In addition to the wife of the home, survivors include one son, Larry Isley of the home.

A graveside service will be conducted at Bellemont United Methodist Church cemetery today, April 12, 2006 at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Darryl Peebles.

The family will receive friends at the residence.
