JACKSON DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS Well Known Grafton Lady Passed Away Wednesday Morning - Funeral Services on Friday Following a lingering illness, Mrs. W. S. Jackson died at her home at 359 West Main Street, Wednesday morning about 8:45. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Fred S. Bishop and the interment will follow in Bluemont cemetery. Native of Grafton Mrs. Jackson was in the 56th year of her age, having been born in Grafton November 16, 1867, the daughter of the late Joseph J. and Nancy M. Miller. On January 24, 1889, she was married to W. Scott Jackson who survives her together with three daughters; Mrs. Claude S. Tetrick of Meadsville, Pa, and Misses Ruth and Helen Jackson of Grafton. One sister, Miss Mattie E. Miller, and one brother, Clay V. Miller of Grafton also survive. Many Years Organist Mrs. Jackson was a life long member of Andrew's Methodist Episcopal church, and for many years the organist. She was noted for her kind, Christian character. Her friends and acquaintances in the city of her nativity were many and numerous and they will be truly grieved to learn of the passing of a genuine Christian soul. References
