Laura L. Buchmann Gasho, '88 (human biology), of Arlington, Va., September 5, at 38, of breast cancer. A member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, she worked in environmental consulting before getting her law degree. She practiced at McCutcheon, Doyle, Brown & Enerson in San Francisco and then at Covington and Burling in Washington, D.C. Survivors: her husband, James, '86; her twins, Clay and Jordan; her parents; one brother; and one sister.

Laura Gasho Laura Gasho 38, of Arlington, Va. and formerly of Winnetka, died Sept. 5. in Washington, D.C. Mrs. Gasho was born Aug. 17, 1966 in Evanston. She was a graduate of New Trier High School, Stanford University and the University of California at Berkeley's law school. She practiced environmental and health law at the firm of Covington and Burling in Washington, D.C. Survivors include her husband, James; her son and daughter; her parents, Walter A. and Anna Marie Buchmann of Northbrook; her sister, Tamara B. (Joseph P.) Wyse; her brother, Mark A. Buchmann; and her aunt, Marykay Verzatt. Gifts in her memory can be sent to the Laura Buchmann Gasho Library Fund, Beauvoir School, 3500 Woodley Road N.W., Washington, D.C. 20016.

Laura B. Gasho is an associate in the environmental and life sciences/health care practice groups. She received a B.A. in Human Biology with distinction from Stanford University in 1988 and a J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley (Boalt Hall), in 1994. Before attending law school, she was with the Washington, D.C. environmental consulting firm of Jellinek, Schwartz, Connolly & Freshman, Inc. Following law school, she was an associate with San Francisco's McCutchen, Doyle, Brown & Enersen.
