    BAKKER, Klaas, age 87 years, passed away in Lynden, Friday, March 30, (1945). He had been a resident of Lynden for the past eight years and was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church. He leaves to mourn, four daughters, Mrs. Henry Douma, of Lynden; Mrs. Jerry Weidenaar, of Foreston, Minn.; Mrs. W. Vanderhage, of Sumas; Mrs. R. Vander Veen, of Lynden; four sons, Henry, of Walker, Minn.; Gerrit, of Everson; Chris, of Holland, Minn,; Abraham, of Billings, Montana; two sisters, Mrs. L. Wissink, Mrs. B. Verhoef; one brother, Chris Bakker, all in Nebraska; twenty-nine grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, April 3, at 2:00 p. m. from the First Christian Reformed Church in Lynden with Rev. O. Hollebeek, of Lynden, officiating. Interment in Monumenta cemetery under the direction of Gillies Funeral Home in Lynden.
