Kenny Wayne Dougherty, age 59, of Farragut, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday afternoon, April 25, 2006 at home. Kenny was a Christian. He was retired from ORNL. He was a veteran of the National Guard during the Vietnam War. Kenny enjoyed gospel music and reading. He was a loving father and grandfather. Survivors: parents, Everett R. and Hazel Dougherty; mother, Helen Wade; children, Michael Dougherty, Bernadette Hammond, Matthew Dougherty DO; grandchildren, Emma Dougherty and Ashton Hammond; brothers, Warren, Jimmy and John Wade all of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:45 p.m. Friday followed by funeral services at 7 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel with Rev. Brent Turnmire officiating.
