... Sir Thomas [Lunsford] married in Virginia a third wife. She was Elizabeth, widow of Richard Kemp of "Richneck," James City County. By this marriage he had one child, Katherine, who married Ralph Wormeley of "Rose Gill," Middlesex County (his first wife). In the very old and worn register of the Christ Church parish her death is recorded as follows: "The Honorable Lady Madam Katharine Wormeley Wife to the Hon'ble Ralph Wormeley Esq'r Departed this life 17th of May 1685 & was buried in the Chancell of the Great Church betweene ye Hon'ble Sir Henry Chichely * * * "
