Facts and Events
Julius L. Dugger is probably a son of Abel Dugger though I haven't seen direct proof of it. Abel did have an apparent son his age with him on the 1830 census who was gone by 1840. They both wound up in Walker Co., GA so probably closely related if not father and son.
Julius was listed on the 1840 census in Walker Co., GA two pages from his father Abel. Analysis:
- Walker Co., GA page 62 J. L. Dugger, 0000100000000-2000100000000
- 1 male 20-29 (1810/20)=Julius L. Dugger (c1815)
- 1 female 20-29 (1810/20)=Prucy M. (---) Dugger (c1816) wife
- 2 females 0-4 (1835/1840)=1-Sarah J. Dugger (c1838); 2-July A. Dugger (c1840) daughters
They were still in Walker for the 1850 census.
