    'Genealogists have given 1730 and 1733 as his death year, but have given no auth. "It is thought he d. aged abt. 90," wrote Van Hoosear, after consulting descendants.'
    A descendant placed a marker on his grave reading: "Judah Gregory, 1643-1733, married Hannah Hoyt. One of the original settlers and founders of Danbury."
