Joshua Seaver died intestate and administration was granted on 17 September 1773 (Suffolk County (Massachusetts) Probate Records, Volume 73, Page 91): John Newell of Newton, County Middlesex, Yeoman, and Ebenr Seaver of Roxbury, County Suffolk, Gentleman, were granted administration of the estate of Joshua Seaver, late of Roxbury, Yeoman, deceased intestate. Timothy Wales, of Dorchester, Yeoman, and James White of Roxbury, yeoman, posted bond. An Inventory was taken by Saml Whittemore, John White, and Abijah Seaver, appraisers. Ebenr Seaver presented the inventory on 7 April 1774 (Volume 73, Page 277). The Real Estate was appraised by Richard Hull, Nathl Ruggles, John Goddard (Volume 74, Page 52) valued at 1,125 pounds, 5 shillings, 1 pence, and included:
