    "11 Joseph Woodruff (Mathew 3) bpt 18 May 1689 Farmington, Conn., d 23 Jan. 1737/38 Farmington m 14 (25?) Oct. 1717 Esther Brown dau Arthur Brown. He was known as 'Joseph Woodruff the glasser'. In May 1731 he was lieutenant and in May 1734 was captain of the 2d Company of militia or trained band in Farmington. His widow was appointed administrix of his estate on 2 May 1738 and distribution was made 12 July 1738."
