    JOSEPH HICKOCK, son of Serg. Samuel; born about 1677; died at Durham 1725; married at Waterbury 8 February 1699/1700, Elizabeth Gaylord, b. 1680, dau. of Joseph and Sarah (Stanley) Gaylord.
    He was a bachelor proprietor 26 March 1699. He was Chimney Viewer 1701-1703. He removed from Waterbury to Durham with the Gaylords. He was a carpenter. Administration was granted 6 July 1725 to brother Stephen and son Joseph.
