Wit: Charles Erwin, James Steuart, James Steuart Jr.
Exec: Joseph, John, and Moses Gwin, his sons
to loving wife Meary - grain, hay raised on "the land that I have improved" on the Cowpasture, livestock, furniture
to son John the land he lives on adj. Hambleton Benson on the Cowpasture river, negro boy Harry
to son Moses "the place I live on" adj. John, on this side of the river, negro man Doctor, wagons, plow, livestock, sugar kettles, farm utensils, negro child "on the breast" named Shorter, all money and bonds
to son Robert 260 acres near the Warm Springs bought of W. Guthrey, likewise the place he now lives adj. James Stuart, and negro child Eady
to son William Kinkead Gwin the land between John's & Robert's, negro girl Kate, horses, planks, gun
to Robert, John, Moses, and Wm. Kinkead land on Calfpasture Mountain, 428 acres in Pendleton and Bath for use as stock farms

"Joseph Gwin (2), son of Robert Gwin (1) and Jean (or Jane) Kincaid; died 1817 in Bath County, Virginia; married Mary Jane Kincaid. They lived in Highland and Bath Counties, Virginia. He served as First Lieutenant in Captain Hicklin's Company in the Revolution. His will was dated August 17, 1817 and recorded October 1817 in Will Book 2, page 156, Bath County, Virginia."
