Foster Genealogy, p. 499: Will of "Joseph Foster of Billerica", dated 6 May 1720, proved 18 Dec 1721, mentions "my loving and beloved wife Rabackah Foster", "son Thomas Foster", "daughter Elizabeth Willson", "grandson Joseph Willson", "granddaughter "Johannah Wilson", "my grandchildren all axcept Joseph and Johannah Willson" [not named]. Friends "Bengemen Thompson and John Blanchord" [also named executors], along with "Mr. Joseph Stevens" to referee division of property if needed.

Deacon Joseph Foster, s/o Thomas, b. Weymouth 28 Mar 1650, d. Billerica 4 Dec 1721, m. (1) 11 Dec 1672 Alice Gorton of Roxbury, m. (2) Margaret Brown of Sudbury, m. (3) Mrs. Rebecca (Parker) Danforth. Will dated 26 Jul 1721, probated 18 Dec 1721. [On p. 488, this source says his father was residing in Weymouth in 1640, 1642 in Boston, in 1647 Billerica, in 1648 Braintree, in 1659 back in Billerica. On top of that, his birth is recorded in Braintree, and is not recorded in Weymouth. So it is not clear why the author says he was born in Weymouth.]
