«i»Will of Joseph Church page 249. Joseph Church of Little Compton. To wife Grace Church either ye lower rooms in ye lower house or one lower room in my upper house by the highway and all house hold goods except what I otherwlse give away. To son Nathaniel Church one half of all my lands in three great lots from the sea to ye great highway with one house and one barn. To son Caleb Church with my other house and barn on ye land when 21 on ye land from the highway to the sea. Great highway. Son Nathaniel Church is to have choice of house and barn. To two youngest sons Richard and Israel Church 100 pounds at twenty three years and fifty pounds to both when they build a house. To grandson Joseph Church 50 pds at 23. Granddaughter Grace Church To four daughters Sarah, Alice, Deborah and Eliz abeth 50 pounds each. Son Nathaniel and wife Grace executors and loving brother in law Israel Shaw and friend Deacon Pabonie to be overseers. To sons Nathaniel Caleb, all outlands. Witnesses Richard Thomas, his mark. He rem. to Little Compton, there his w. d. 21 Mar. 1710, aged 69, and he d. 5 Mar. foll. in 73d yr."
