    Jonathan Stimson, freeman 18 Apr 1690, d. 22 Dec 1692 [sic, see probate where date of death given as 22 Feb 1692, showing that this is misinterpretation of the 12th month]. "His parentage has not been ascertained, nor the place of his nativity." Married (1) Elizabeth Stubbs "by whom he had 9 chil.", m. (2) Abigail ---.
    [Note: the probate shows Elizabeth was his widow, so there was no second wife Abigail. The probate also names 10 children, adding a daughter Rebecca not named by Bond.]

    Undated: "An Inventory of the Estate of Jonathan Stemson of WaterTowne deseased the 22th of febreury (1692". Sworn to 13 Mar 1692/3 by Elizabeth Stempson.
    6 Jan 1700/01: account of Elizabeth Stimson submitted, allowed 21 May 1701.
    14 Jul 1701: Appraisal of Reall Estate of Joanthan Stimpson late of Water Town in said County Husbandman Dec'd, widows thirds set off. Residue "devided into Eleven share of which ye Eldest Sonn James Stimson is to have [a double share] & ye other nine children [a single share]...".
