    "Jonathan3 Bosworth, Jr., eldest son of Jonathan2 Edward11) and Elizabeth (_____) Bosworth, was born about 1635 or 1636, but whether in Cambridge or Hingham, is not known, as neither record of birth nor baptism, have been found. He probably passed his boyhood in the latter place and removed with his father to Rehoboth, Mass., sometime between 1650 and 1658. He was later known as a 'Plowright.'

    The first mention of Jonathan, Jr. in the old records, was at Rehoboth, Apr. 30, 1659, when he, with his cousin, Benjamin Buckland and another young man, were appointed 'troopers' for the town for three years. At this time Jonathan, Jr. was about 23 or 24 years of age, and Benjamin Buckland about 19 or 20. …

    Jonathan3 Bosworth, Jr. died sometime between May 10, 1708, and June 10, 1717; probably nearer to the latter date, when he was about 80 years of age."

    "… Jonathan Bosworth, who was born about 1636 and died at Swansey before 10 June 1717, son of Jonathan and Elizabeth (_____) Bosworth. Jonathan Bosworth Sr. of Swansey made his will 24 February 1686/7, it was never presented nor proved, naming among his children his son Jonathan. … On 10 May 1708 Jonathan Bosworth of Swanzey gave land in Swanzey to son David Bosworth of Plimpton, carpenter. On 10 June 1717 witnesses swore they had seen Jonathan Bosworth sign the deed. … No Bristol County PR found for Jonathan Bosworth."
