   The third John Wright was the son of 1793 Peter Wright of Botetourt County, Virginia. The marriage record of John Wright and Agness McMurry was dated on August 17, 1789, at Botetourt County, Virginia. On Nov 9, 1792, at Botetourt County, Virginia, D.B. 4/427 Peter Wright gifted 168 acres of land to his son John Wright. On April 10, 1797, at Botetourt County, Virginia, D.B. 6/215 John Wright and Agness Wright sold that same land to George Pence. These two deed records identify thet John Wright who married Agness McMurry as the John Wright who was the son of 1793 Peter Wright of Botetourt County, Virginia. After the sale of their land in 1797, John Wright and Agness (McMurry) Wright moved to Kentucky.
