9 May 1776 Whereas John Ward, Richard Ward & Elizabeth Ward children of said deceased (Anna Ward) have considerable estate bequeathed to them by their father and mother and are without natural guardian; thus William Greene Esq. of Warwick appointed guardian to the said John, Richard and Elizabeth Ward until they arrive to lawful age to appoint guardians for themselves.
