John H. Walker, born about 1755, was the son of William Walker of Bedford and Botetourt Counties and who is buried in Craig County, Virginia.

In documents related to him, he is "John H. Walker". Many descendants believe his middle name is either Harrison or Harvison. He did name a son George Harvison so there may be some reason to think it is also his name. He also had a son named Henry and a Grandfather named Henry Walker which gives weight for Henry to be his middle name. However, there is only the initial "H" that has been verified.

In the documentation for the father of John H. Walker, the only names given are "William Walker" - no middle name or initial. If William Walker had a middle name or initial, it is not given in any documents, including DAR papers.
