Mentions brother Elnathan, wife Deborah, sons Josiah, John, Zerobabel, Ephraim and unnamed daughters. A note identifies John as a son "of Captain Thomas Topping, lived at Soggaponack, in Southampton" and quotes his epitaph:

"Here lieth the body of John Topping, Justice of the Peace, aged 50 years, who departed this life on the 29th day of May in the year 1686".
