In the name of God, Amen. I John Tailor of the County of Woodford and State of Kentucky, being weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory blessed be almighty God for the same, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say first I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Rose Ann Tailor all my ranl[?] and personal estate for his to make use of that is to say for her to sell exchange and make use of it as she may think proper during his natural life and after his death to be equally divided bretwixt all my children that is to say Ezekiel Tailor Polly Tailor Rachel Tailor John Paul [Powl?] Tailor Roseanna Tailor Philip Dudley Tailor William Shiplen Tailor and my will is that there shall be no appraisement of my Estate lastly I leave by beloved wife Rose Ann Tailor whom I hereby appoint sole Executrix of this my last will and [sic] In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this nine day of September one thousand eight hundred and twenty two.

This last will and testament of John Tailor deceased was again produced in court and proven by the oath of Abraham Dale and Ahmed Rucker two of the witnesses thereto ands ordered to record and _____[?] for the Executrix to qualify and execute Bond and afterwards _____[?] on the same day the said Rosanna Tailor the Exec. named in the last will and testament of Jno Tailor deceased came into court and took the oath required by law and executed bond with Abraham Dale and Ahmed Rucker her securities in the sume of five thousand dollars conditioned according to law certificate of probate is granted her in due form [signed] John McKinny Jr cir. cc.
