II. John Talcott, a pewterer, of Braintree, Essex, died in 1604 (will dated 30 Sept. 1604, proved 24 Jan. 1604/5); married Anne Skinner, who died at Felsted, Essex, in 1637 (will Jan. 1636/7, proved 25 May 1637), daughter of William and Margery Skinner. She married second, by Jan. 1604/5, Moses Wall, a clothier, of Braintree, who died about the end of 1623 (will dated 16 Sept. 1623, codicil 16 Oct. 1623, proved 23 Jan. 1623). John Talcott’s will named his young children, John, Rachel, Anne, Mary, and Sarah; their grandfather Skinner's will named only John, Rachel and Sarah in 1616, and these three only were named in the will of their step-father in 1623 and in that of their mother in 1637.
