1924 - Baptism (at South Lopham): John Stewart Edwin, son of Edwin and Sybil Doreen SARE, Hillcrest, Birdbrook, Essex, born 23 Aug 1924.

1932 - From information collected by the Women's Institute: John's grave has white marble and is inlaid with lead lettering. There is a cross mounted on three steps and the inscription is on the steps. There is nothing on the back or sides. The inscription reads: In/ Memory/ of/ JOHN/ dearly beloved son of/ SYBIL and EDWIN SARE/ who died 16th Feb. 1932/ aged 7 years/ "He shall gather the lambs with His arms".
