Troop of Dragoons, July, 1675; a good officer; killed in the Great Swamp Fight (Narragansett) 19 Dec, 1675. Invent, of Est. taken 3 Mch., 1675-6─amt. £172-04-08. Will dated, 11 January, 1675-6─stated to Samuel Talcott & William Goodrich the day he went to Springfield by the Council's order [on military duty] as his will he gave his Lands to his son John Stedman, Jr., hoping he would give something to his other children and gave of his estate other than Lands to his wife─2 March, 1675-6. Will & Invt. Exhibit Adms. to the Relict."

Stedman to take advice of Major Talcott & Capt. Allyn in the dispose of them."
