It also states that he was son of Richard de St. Maur, lord of Castlekary, and that John's wife, Margaret, yet living [the inquisition was taken 30 Mar 1416], daughter of John Erleight, Esquire, held land in Blakeford and Prestlegy, and the advowson of Blakeford jointly, by the grant (levied by fine) of Richard St. Maur, Knight, at the rent of a rose.
