    I, John Rockwell of Windsor, being old and infirm, do make this my last will and testament: I give to my wife Anne my best bed and furniture and £30 out of my personal estate at inventory price, being in such things as she is pleased to make choice of; all this to be over and above her right of dowry in my houseing and lands. I give to my son Daniel Rockwell all that parcel of land on which now he lives, being about one mile and 3-4 in length and 31 rods in breadth (74 acres), with my house and barn thereon standing, to him and his heirs forever. I give to my son Ebenezer Rockwell 33 acres of that piece of land on which I now dwell, with the buildings thereon standing, reserving the use of the northern lower room or parlour for my daughter Anne Rockwell, which I give to her for her use so long as she remains unmarried. I give to my son Joel Rockwell all my land lying in the Township of Cornwell already laid out, also all my right, interest, share and part to and in the undivided land not yet laid out in sd. Township of Cornwell, to him and his heirs forever. I give to my sons Danied [sic] Rockwell and David Rockwell and to my son Joel Rockwell 20 acres of that parcel of land on which I now dwell, lying in the eastern part, to begin by my son Ebenezer Rockwell's land end, to them and their heirs forever, share and share alike. I give to my son Daniel Rockwell, to my son David Rockwell, to my son Ebenezer Rockwell, and to my son Joel Rockwell, all my right, interest, share and part to and in the land called the Equivalent Land, also all my right in the common land, to them and their heirs forever, share and share alike. My will is that my son Daniel Rockwell shall pay to my daughter Anne Rockwell, £21-05-00 old tenor; and to my daughter Mary, the wife of Isaac Norton, the sum of £1 old tenor; and to my daughter Abigail, the wife of Joseph Stedman, £1 old tenor; and to my daughter Martha Rockwell, £18-15-00 old tenor; and to my daughter Rachel Rockwell, £18-15-00 old tenor. My will also is that my son David Rockwell shall pay to my daughter Anne Rockwell £21-05-00 old tenor; and to my daughter Mary, wife of Isaac Norton, 20 shillings old tenor; and to my daughter Abigail, wife of Joseph Stedman, 20 shillings; to my daughter Martha Rockwell £18-15-00 old tenor; to my daughter Rachel Rockwell, £18-15-00 old tenor. And Ebenezer Rockwell and Joel Rockwell each of them to pay such sums to each of their sisters as above mentioned. After my just debts and funeral expenses are paid, all the rest of my estate, both real and personal, I give and bequeath to my four sons and five daughters, Daniel Rockwell, David Rockwell, Ebenezer Rockwell, Joel Rockwell, Anne Rockwell, Mary the wife of Isaac Norton, Abigail the wife of Joseph Stedman, Martha Rockwell and Rachel Rockwell, to them and their heirs forever, share and share alike. I appoint my brother-in-law Joseph Stedman and my son Daniel Rockwell to be my executors.
