Will Abstract

Will of John Price juener [junior] of the County of King George and the parrish of Hanover.

I give unto my lawful wife Elizabeth Price all my estate to raise my children upon as long as she remains my Widdow except she makes way with it.

Item. I give to my son Thornton A. Price my plantation whereon I live.

Item. I give to my son John B. Price the plantation that I bought of Robert T. Dade and my grifs mill to be between Thornton A. Price and John Price and if either of my sons dyeth without lawfull heir for the land and mill to return to the surviving one.

Item. I give to my daughters Susanna Jones Price, Faney Buckner Price, Nancy More Price and Sally Price forty five pounds each.

Item. I leave all the rest of my estate to be equilly devided betwen all my children as they come of age or marry that is if Susanna Jones Price doth not demand a dower that was left to her by her aunt Marget Rollons which was between forty or fifty pounds then for the above obligation for to stand, but if she doth demand that part of the estate that was left by her Aunt Rollins on marry to John Price youngger which is my brothers son ~ I cut her of from any right or claim of my estate except one Dollar.

It is my will and desire that know part of my estate shall be sold.

I appoint Matthew King, John Whiting and Elizabeth Price to be my executors of this my last Will and testament.

Witness whereof I have set my hand and Seal this third day of May Eighteen hundred and five.

At a monthly Court held for King George County the 5th day of February 1807

The aforegoing last will and testament of John Price junior deceased being produced in Court and proved by the oaths of John Whiting, Thomas Price and Bennett Price, the subscribing witnesses thereto was Ordered to be recorded and at other monthly Court held of the said County the ___ of Sept 1807 the exors and executrix named in the said will severally refused to state upon them ___ it either of the executor thereof whereupon or not __ Elizabeth Price ___ as the law directs in such and ____ in the penalty of $4,000 with G_- Price, John Whiting and Wm. Hose? Jr. her securities, certificate is granted for obtaining letters of Admin with the will annexed of the sd. John Price Jr. dec'd in due form.
