Alt Death? Abt 1663 Navestock, Essex, England

John Partridge of Olney, Buckinghamshire, England (wife Frances) left a will (see NEHGR 63:283-84) and was father to only two children William of Salisbury, MA and Jane of Salisbury, MA. William Partridge of Salisbury retained Richard Drummer as attorney to make claims against an estate in Olney (see Aspinwall 333 and GMB 594-5). He certainly would have had no relationship to this father from Navestock, Essex, England.

This is a completely different man than John Partridge of Navestock, Essex, (who married Jane Hogg). Long ago it was posited that he was father of John, William and Margaret of Medfield and this was soundly disproved as all three children died in Navestock and therefore can not have been the three who came to Medfield. The parents of the Medfield family is still unknown.

I don't have time to clean this up today but I thought I should leave a note so this doesn't confuse researchers.
