    John Morrow was born 03/06/1802, in Tennessee, the son of William and Lydia (Watts?) Morrow. He moved with his father to Lawrence County, TN, in 1816/7 and then to Wayne County, TN in 1819, settling on Green River, about a mile south of Waynesboro. He married 02/05/1829, Wayne County, TN to Miss Elizabeth Worthen Cypert, the daughter of Jesse and Jemima Worthen Cypert and granddaughter of Frances II and Abigail Johnson Cypert and James Worthen. Elizabeth was born 02/08/1808, in Warren County, TN and died 09/17/1875, on Downing Branch, Wayne County, TN. John Morrow died 07/20/1872, and both are buried in the Morrow-Downing Cemetery on Downing Branch.
