"Uncle John" was Grandad McDermott's brother and he had a son named Fred McDermott who was born in 1909 and died in 1975. His son married Helen Chandler 1914-1985 and they had a daughter Mary Nell (1937-1982), and 3 sons, Patrick, (1948 alive in 1982) Barry & Rick. Per Miriam McDermott Cash account from her trip to Lexington & Paris. John was buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Paris, Kentucky.
