Information on John McClelland

John McClellan m. Sarah Lowery 1770. In 1775 or 1776 John and a group of militiamen moved down into Kentucky and erected Fort McClellan at Royal Springs, which would later become Georgetown, Kentucky. It was at Fort McClellan that John lost his life to Indians before 1777.
