- Lockhart, John Sr., - born 4/3/1763 in Princess Anne County, Virginia; moved with parents to Northampton County, North Carolina; entered service there in 1780; moved several years after Revolutionary War to Virginia for abt. 20 yars, thence to Anson County, North Carolina, where granted Pension in 1832; died 1/30/1835; soldier's brother Adam resided 1832 in Anson County, North Carolina; Uncle was Captain Samuel Lockhart Revolutionary War soldier. FS8850, R1576.
