[Regarding birth location:] John Livermore [the father] probably went to Connecticut with other Watertown people who went to Wethersfield in 1635 and 1636. First notice of him in Connecticut in 1639 signing the founding agreement of New Haven Colony, but probably went to Wethersfield and lived there until this time. The first assessment in New Haven shows he had two children when he moved there, and Samuel was first child baptized in New Haven 15 Aug 1641. 7 May 1650 he sold his house in Connecticut to Theophilus Higginson and he was known to be back in Watertown sometime prior to July 1653.
