He is survived by his mother, Edith Hatfield Jackson of Coalfield; daughters Arlena Jackson Phillips and husband Douglas of Wartburg and Wanda Michelle Dodson and husband William of Lancing; grandchildren Tiffany Dodson and Whitney Dodson; brothers Kenneth Jackson and wife Louada of Coalfield, Troy L. Jackson and wife Barbara of Coalfield, Paul David Jackson and wife Agnes of Oakdale and Robert E. Jackson and wife Susan of Wartburg; sisters Letha Sue Kivett and husband Ralph of Mossy Grove, Betty L. Armes of Wartburg, Mary M. Armes and husband David of Joyner and Leona Hale and husband David of Oliver Springs; half brother James A. Jackson of Wartburg and half sister Bobbie Jean Blankenship of Cincinnati.

Mr. Jackson was born Aug. 15, 1946 in Jellico. He lived in Morgan County most of his lfe. He was a disabled coal miner. He was a member of Corbin Hill Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran. Funeral services were held Sun. Nov. 10, 2002 at 1 p.m. in Corbin Hill Baptist Church with Tev. Luke Ward and Rev. Mark Bass officiating. Burial followed in Anderson Memorial Gardens. The family received friends Sat. Nov. 9, 2002 from 6 to 9 p.m. in Corbin Hill Baptist Church. Sharp Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. [Morgan County News]
