This John Hueston lived in Brandywine hundred, and so is presumed to be a son of son of Family:James Houston and Mary Glassford (1), but this is speculative. Wife based on Land transaction between John ALLMOND of Brandywine hundred and James Hueston and his wife Mary McMullen. Almond's wife was apparently Mary's sister Barbary according to this transaction. [See: Note 7 of James Huston Notebook.]

Another possibility is that he is descended from Anthony Huston, an early settler in New Castle.
