HOGUE, John, late of Sandy Lake, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, signed will June 22, 1845. Will was probated in Mercer by James Hazelton, register for Probate of Wills on March 30, 1848. It was produced for probate in Mahoning County by Hoffman, Hutchins, & Powers, Esqrs., and probated in Canfield, Mahoning County, on June 27, 1848. Heirs, (1) wife, Elizabeth Hogue, (2) daughter, Sarah Hogue, (3) daughter, July Hogue, (4) daughter Emily Hogue, (5) daughter Mary Hogue. Executors (1) Wilson S. Thorn, (2) Wm. Hogue. The following male heirs acknowledged that they had already received their shares: (1) James Hogue, (2) Findlay Hogue, (3) Wesley Hogue. These men signed off on September 27, 1845 in presence of witnesses for the above will: (1) Emery E. Easton, (2) Freeman Dunn. These witnesses were sworn before B. F. Boskin, Deputy Register of Mercer County, on March 30, 1848. Attest..Wm. W. Whittlesey (rest of line marred). References
