Hill, John - entered service 1777 in Shenandoah County, Virginia, with brothers George & Simon; Virginia Bounty Land Warrant #1538 issued 9/9/1783; Virginia Bounty Land Warrant #4448 issued 1/29/1789; George & Simon moved to Kingman County, Ohio; soldier died Shenandoah County, Virginia 10/19/1810; married 3/24/1781 to Mary Riley, Fauquier County, Virginia; widow granted Pension age 83 in Page County, Virginia, 1838; resided there in 1841; widow's brother George Riley made affidavit age 82 in Warren County, Virginia, 1838 that he entered service in Augusta County, Virginia. F-W19770, R1276.
