 Hans Heinrich Hirsch of the Palatine area of Germany was deceased by 1740.

His widow, Juliana Maronica came to the US with their children by the Ship Lydia, on September 17, 1740. They landed at Port Pennsylvania, first settling in Philadelphia Co, PA (This part becoming Montgomery Co, PA in 1784. 

 The children are listed, not necessarily in order of birth.

1. Simon Harsh born 1722 2. John Henry Harsh born c 1724 3. Catherine Harsh 4. Ludwig Harsh born probably 1735. Married Catherine Taub in 1755. 

 Ludwig (Lewis) is the ancestor of the line of Martha Ann (Harsh) Cade in the

following order. John Henry Harsh, son of Ledwig, married Catherine Linder Henry Harsh, son of John Henry, married Elizabeth Williams Martha Ann Harsh, daughter of Henry, married Josephus Cade
