    3. John b. ca 1638 as appears by his deposition (Mass. Arch., X.93); married his cousin Elizabeth, daughter of Richard and Susanna (Bonython) Cummings. ... by whom he had Nathaniel, who may be the "Nathaniel Foxhall" said to have been killed by "an amushmet" of Indians at Black Point 6 Oct 1706. Nathaniel had an only daughter Deborah, who married William Corbin, of Boston, and as sole heiress of her father and grandfather, in 1720, to William, afterwards Sir William, Pepperell, all her right in the estate of Richard Foxwell. [Folsom, ibid. 117.]

Colonel Banks didn't quite get it right. According to Noyes/Libby/Davis and, later, Robert Charles Anderson, John Foxwell's widow, Deborah Johnson, married John Harmon, widower of Foxwell's cousin Elizabeth Cummings.
