John, and Joseph were the sons of Patrick Fasset, and Sarah, surname [--?--]. this assumption of parentage is based on the fact that Patrick was in Billerica by 1679. John fasset was the first treasurer of Bedford, set off from Billerica in 1733. No issue.

Reg., p. 3 32 mentions a certificate of Jonathan Prescott, Sr. and Jonathan Prescot t, Chiurgeons saying John Fassit of Concord, is incapable of service fr om lameness Oct. 13, 1698. He was the first treasurer of the town of Bedfo rd. On a trip to London, England he purchased a Bible printed in Lond on in 1611."     Will of "John Fasset of Bedford ... yeoman Being very weak in Body", dated 17 Jan 1736/7, proved 23 May 1737, bequeaths to wife all moveable estate and use of all real estate during her natural life, to "Cusson" Peter Fassett 1/2 of housing and lands, "Cuson" John Fassett the other half, to Mary Wooley £20, to Abigail Headen $pound;10, to Mary [Gorrel?] £5. Wife to be executrix, desires Mr Stephen Palmar of Cambridge to assist her.
    21 Feb 1736[/7]: Heirs cited to approve will. Note on back of citation by Mary Fassett that "I am week of Body and not capable of coming down Just now".
    23 May 1737: Bond of Mary Fasset widow of Bedford as Executrix of will of John Fasset late of Bedford.
