- Elliott, John - born 11/16/1755 in Augusta County, virginia; entered service 1776 when he resided in Guilford County, North Carolina; after Revolutionary War moved to Kentucky; thence to Tennessee, thence to Alabama where pensioned in 1834 in Morgan County; surname also spelled Elliot; query letter in file in 1930 from descendant from Mrs. L.L. Brockman, Pine Bluff, Arkansas, states soldier died at age 79 in Morgan County, Alabama, F-S32232, R913.
