The letter states that "Lemuel has a school near his house and he invited your Father to send Johnny to come and go with his son and daughter to school". It further states that at the time of his death William Eastin "seemed to have a great desire for Lemuel to take Johnny", that "Lemuel has done so, he is there at school".
