Facts and Events
John C. Dugger was born 15 Nov 1797 (per Revolutionary War Pension File W7062, John Dugger), probably in Orange Co., NC or perhaps in Sumner Co., TN. He was a twin to Elizabeth "Betsy" Dugger.
There is a John Dugger listed on the 1820 census in Madison Co., IL but it might not be this same John. The age is a little off, and this John wasn't married yet until later that same year. However, if it isn't this John I'm not sure who it is.

There is a John Dugger Jr listed on the 1820 tax list in Sumner Co., TN. That could be this same John, or perhaps not. If it is him, was he still living in TN then, or is that him in IL in 1820? Both records could be for the same man.
On 24 Aug 1820 John Dugger married Holly McAdams in Madison Co., IL. This marriage is recorded in the official marriage records and is also included in John Dugger's Revolutionary War Pension File (W 7062).
John C. Dugger is listed on the 1830 census in Madison Co., IL.
