He is also listed in the Suwanee Church records (see David for details). John was in Etowah Co., AL by 1860. Government land records show: John T. Driskill of Etowah Co., AL patented on 3/1/1858 160.28 acres at the Land Office in Huntsville.

All of John's children are accounted for except Hulda, and Harrison. I have not been able to find Hulda/Mahulda and husband on the 1880 census. I have looked for Shans, Shaw, and anything close to those spellings but so far nothing has turned up. Harrison also disappeared.
