About John Creak (Krick)

This from the book "The Giger's":

John Creak was listed under the command of Captain Joseph Bowman in Volume I Revolutionary War Records of Virginia by Brumbaugh, published in 1936. Except for the marriage record to Rebeckah and birth and baptismal records of their children, no other records on John Creak have been found. He may have died in the war because Rebeckah obtained land in Greenbriar County, Virginia (now part of West Virginia). The 1783 census record for Shenandoah County, Virginia shows Rebeckah Creek as head of the household with two whites.
