    "7. John3 Clark (Thomas,2 George1), born at Milford, Conn., Dec. 31, 1671 [M. V. R.], died there Apr. 10, 1704 [M. V. R.]; … Administration on John Clark's estate was granted, May 9, 1704, to Lydia Clark, widow of the deceased. Capt. Thomas Clark, father of the deceased, consented to the entering of all the real estate into his son's inventory, and he and the widow Lydia were appointed guardians to all the children. [New Haven County Court Rec. 2:copy 177.] The inventory, taken June 2, 1704, includes 'homelott wth dwelling house Barne Shopp,' £160; '12 ½ akres of Land in ye newffield,' £37; and '10lb att Norwalk' [N. H. P. 3:30-32]."
